Shelbyville MOPS: Book DiscussionsAre you a parent of young children? You might enjoy the Shelbyville MOPS book discussion group. Shelbyville MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Most moms in the MOPS group have a child aged 0-6 yrs. old (although many of them also have older children as well). MOPS group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at Shelbyville Community Church from 9-11 (childcare is provided).
Several of the moms also get together for book club. The next book club discussion will be on February 20 at Starbucks on Lee Blvd. at 7:30 pm. The book we'll be reading is "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand" by Helen Simonson. (P.S. Having a child is not required in order to join our group!!) We'd love have new people join!)
