Administrative The library is dedicated to life-long learning and committed to the freedom of information.Over 21,000 Shelby County residents are SSCPL registered borrowers, approximately 140,000 visits are made to the library per year, and over 950 programs are offered to residents each year. The administrative staff makes sure that the library acquires, maintains, and provides materials which support independent learning for the citizens of Shelby County.
