HYPERBOLIC CROCHET CORAL REEF PROJECT SAT. APRIL 17; 2-4PM
You are invited to take part in an exciting crochet adventure at the library! The Indianapolis Crochet Guild is participating in the construction of a hyperbolic crocheted coral reef. The sponsoring organization is the Indiana State Museum where the reef will be on display during the month of September 2010. 1,000 corals are needed for the display. EARTH DAY CELEBRATION THURS. APRIL 22; 6:30PM
Help us construct a pinata out of recycled paper at the library to celebrate Earth Day on Thurs., April 22, 2010 at 6:30pm. We will also be making paper and jewelry this evening. Iris Hughes, from 'Hughes Gathering of Flowers,' will demonstrate how to plant various containers with herbs, vegetables and flowers.
